Currently known as the co-founder of the QI group in Hong Kong, Vijay Eswaran is an entrepreneur with a long and fascinating history that has helped him get to where he is in the world today.

Born in Penang October 7, 1960, Vijay spent most of his childhood moving all around Malaysia due to his parents work with the labor ministry. He would go on to graduate from the London School Of Economics in 1984 with a degree in Socio-Economics.

At the time he was new to marketing and gradually began his study of the subject, later obtaining professional qualifications from the CIMA and later and MBA from Southern Illinois University. Upon his return to Malaysia a few years later, he was approached by the Cosway Group to start a business in the Philippines and it was around that time that he began to think more seriously about multilevel marketing. This would later lead him to create the QI group in 1998. A conglomerate that has businesses in telecommunications, travel, media, training, wellness, and more. It is present in nearly ten countries across the globe.

Vijay Eswaran is not just a business man though, he’s also got a reputation as an author of five books and a philanthropist and has many awards and accolades to show for it. In 2005, he published his first book titled “In The Sphere Of Silence” which detailed his own life philosophies and habits pertaining to his line of work.

His second book “In The Thinking Zone” was released in 2008 and was about his reflections on his life as well as several other thoughts to help others. In 2010 he launched his third book “18 Stepping Stones”. His last and most recent book “Two Minutes From The Abyss” was released last year in 2016.

According to QBuzz, Vijay Eswaran was ranked at number 25 in Forbes Asia’s Malaysia’s richest in 2013 and was given the New Global Indian award in New York in 2012. Vijay Eswaran is currently continuing to find a way to learn more, expand his success and continue to find ways to inspire and help others who are looking to get into the same field.
